Radio Recon's Not Sure About the Brown and Purple Look -- But Liked the Result Okay

Sinking Spring, PA – The Reading Royals cordially invite you to join us tomorrow night (Tuesday, January 14, 2014) from 6 – 7 pm at Jimmy G’s Railroad House Sports Bar and Restaurant (152 Woodrow Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA; 610-678-1177) for Radio Recon, the Royals’ weekly coach’s show.

Although the host isn’t quite sure how our look on Sunday would have fared on Project Runway, he isn’t all that into reality fashion shows as much as he is wins…and, in that category, the brown and purple look worked just fine. And, of course, Coach Courville has been known to keep wearing the same suit as long as it wins (which is usually why the longer the win streak goes, the farther we stand away from him), so we’ll ask him whether we can expect to don clashing colors for some time to come. Newcomer Kevin Walrod looked just fine despite our fashion faux pas, and we’ll talk with him about his start with the Royals. We’ll also have Shawn Hinkle of the Penn State University Berks County Alumnae Association, who I’m sure will be nattily dressed in Blue and White and will talk about the PSU THON game this coming Saturday.

As always, we’ll have a wireless mic at the ready for any and all comments and questions from the fans. We’ll also come up with a little crazy trivia and giveaways for those who participate in the show. Royals Radio Recon will be broadcast live on the Royals Broadcast Network (CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm in Reading).
